My first, and quite possibly last, attempt at corner 2 corner (c2c). Lots of people love this technique and are addicted to c2c projects, but I just found it irritating for some reason! Although fairly happy with the resulting car cushion for my son.

Make a beautiful seasonal poppy from Kandipandi's pattern. Any 'money' made from making these for family/friends should go directly in the nearest Royal Legion donation box.
The black centre here is done with a crochet circle in black DK wool rather than felt. A variety of "Converse" style baby booties crocheted based on loopysue's lovely illustrated instructions on Ravelry. I've made several of these for expectant Mums now and they've all been pleased to receive them! I love the versatility of colours and minor changes in style that you can create off the pattern. The twin pairs are so cute together... The pink/blue pair was done for a girl/boy set of twins and the dark red/green pair were for a set of twin boys to be born to a Hungarian Mum. :)
